Joe Gibbs 01306 PSF Synthetic Power Steering Fluid - 1 Quart Bottle Feature
- PSF is a fully synthetic power steering fluid
- Offers high temperature foam resistance
- Lowers power steering system temperatures
- Improves steering response
- Excellent thermal stability for consistent system pressure
As with all of their products, Joe Gibbs Driven Power Steering Fluid is specifically made for racing applications. Designed to facilitate an increased and consistent steering response, it does this through a combination of a low temperature flow, reducing initial drag, and a fully synthetic formula, which allows for better thermal stability, no matter the status of the engine. Couple this with high temperature foam resistance for better cooling and you have the improved steering precision drivers count on, no matter your type of race.
Improved thermal stability for less pressure drops equals consistent steering response.

Consistent Steering Response
Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil is formulated specifically for racing power steering applications. Racing steering systems see higher loads and increased temperatures compared to street steering systems, so racing power steering systems require higher levels of additives and high quality base oils to prevent premature part failure. Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil contains all of the correct additives and the highest quality base oils to protect your power steering system and to keep it operating properly.
Joe Gibbs Driven Power Steering Fluid is a fully synthetic oil used everywhere from Watkins Glen to Daytona by the Joe Gibbs Racing team. Designed specifically for racing power steering systems, it delivers improved thermal stability across a wide range of operating temperatures. Thermal stability provides more consistent steering assist, which in turn improves repeatability. In addition, Joe Gibbs Driven Power Steering Fluid's high temperature foam protection also lowers steering system temperatures compared to conventional steering fluids for improved steering precision.
Why Use Synthetic Fluids?
Oil does more than just reduce friction and wear. It also serves as a vital coolant throughout your engine. Keeping parts cool and well lubricated enables parts to last longer, so the Joe Gibbs Racing team sprays oil on their valve springs, camshafts and pistons to keep them cool. The high temperatures on these parts would cause conventional oils to breakdown much faster than synthetic oil. The proof of this is in the fact that conventional base oils can handle up to 320°F operating temperatures, while synthetic base oils can handle up to 554°F operating temperatures. The improved thermal stability of synthetic oil provides increased oil longevity. These shear stable oils allow you to safely run lower viscosity oils that increase horsepower - without the danger of viscosity breakdown. Joe Gibbs Driven racing oils maintain their viscosity even after 500 miles of competition, so parts stay cool and well lubricated.

About Joe Gibbs Driven Products
Joe Gibbs Driven is an extension of Joe Gibbs Racing, which is not an oil company - it is a NASCAR race team owned by Joe Gibbs, former head coach of the Washington Redskins. With three Super Bowl rings, Coach Gibbs knows that to win at the highest level, whether on the track or the field you need to have access to the best resources possible. That's why Joe Gibbs Racing developed Joe Gibbs Driven products. These products have brought Joe Gibbs Racing multiple NASCAR Cup Series Championships, and now you can use the same products they use in your own high performance vehicles.
The pursuit of increased power output and durability does not end at the flywheel. The engineering staff at Joe Gibbs racing looks for every possible advantage, and Joe Gibbs driven lubricants deliver measurable performance gains in transmissions, rear gears, and power steering systems.
